The Rose That Grew From Concrete by: Tupac Shakur
This book I'm reading is by a rap artist!! How cool is that?! This book is written in poem format. On the Left side it is the actual letter from the teenager, on the right side says the same exact words but if you cant read what the teenage said then read the right side. Tupac only wrote the letters that have his signature at the bottom of the page. Doesn't this book sound so cool??? The first page I read today was to a girl from the teenager. Ohhh yea, i forgot to tell you some or half of the poem's are based on romance. Its kinda weird but, O.K. I had a weird (or crazy you could call it) clunk. In the book I don't know if what it means by "April". They could both be for the season or it could be about a girl. I read the poem again and I still don't know if it's about a girl or season!! AHHHH. HELPP. I think its for a girl because the next chapter (of poem's) before all the romance (or about how he feels for a girl) the title is called "Nothing can become between us 2". I think its a cute how the teenager feels <3 for the girl. And not just <3 because there dating, but actual <3 that teenagers shouldn't be able to feel. Awwwww, poor guy got divorced and he says his <3 is broken *feel very bad*. Wonder what will happen later in the book, maybe something special, not close to special, in between special, and not ever gonna be special. One poem by his ex-wife says how much men don't care for anything but girls, but not this teen. He's so good to her and she doesn't eve notice! :[. She basically said that women are not perfect but men are not faithful! Okay well that's all I'm reading for today.
